Job summary

Bell in Mississauga is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Wireless team's budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will partner with PMO, Finance, and Product teams to translate data into actionable insights that influence strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes month-end close, variance analysis, and building business cases, with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and deadlines in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting, planning, forecasting, performance management, or a comparable FP&A role, including work with a large ERP platform such as SAP and related reporting tools.
• Strong analytical judgement, with the ability to reason logically, identify assumptions, quantify impacts, and assess results for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, take accountability, and meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility and confidence operating in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Commitment to staying current on financial reporting best practices and relevant regulatory changes.
• Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and manage journal entries, including invoicing and accruals.
• Deliver month-end reports and executive-ready materials for vice-presidents that summarize assumptions, metrics, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly outlooks with cross-functional teams.
• Develop business cases and capital submissions through market research, data analysis, financial assessment, and deal modelling.
• Provide training and support on financial reports to team members.
