Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Vice-President / Engagement Lead for Forensic Accounting Claims Services in Canada. Hybrid role across Canadian offices, managing complex engagements and growing the practice with a global team.

You will develop financial models for insurance losses, analyze large data sets, and communicate findings to clients and counsel while coordinating with internal teams. CPA/CBV/CFA/CFE required with 2+ years in claims quantification.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Economics.
• CPA, CBV, CFA, and/or CFE designation(s).
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in insurance claim quantification (Business Interruption Losses), litigation support, and/or forensic accounting.
• Exceptional project management skills with coordinating with brokers and account teams.
• Advanced MS Excel (including VBA); SQL or database experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of financial damages and measures of lost profits to develop financial models for losses.
• Synthesize and analyze large data sets and complex business models across industries.
• Communicate complex analysis to clients, attorneys and senior stakeholders.
• Lead and project manage engagements, manage client expectations and milestones.
• Develop industry expertise in key sectors and drive practice initiatives.
• Travel as needed to client sites and meetings.
• Collaborate with analytics and consulting teams to deliver results.
