Senior Flight-Operations Satellite Systems Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

As part of the System Engineering Department, you will :

• Conduct trade-off studies for Satellite LEOP planning
• Develop and oversee in-orbit operations procedures and training
• Create satellite operation manuals and test procedures
• Verify and validate operations procedures for on-orbit commissioning and routine operations
• Support in-orbit testing, anomaly resolution, and FDIR
• Assist with satellite simulator operations and scripting

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field
• Minimum 10 years of practical experience
• Experience with LEO / MEO satellite systems
• Knowledge of automated satellite operations and IOT
• Systems engineering expertise in space and ground segment design and integration
• Proficiency with modeling or simulation software
• Programming skills in Python or similar languages
• Experience with MATLAB and AG1's STK

Additional Requirements

• Experience in Constellation Operations and automated testing
• Proficiency with MS Excel and requirements management tools
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English; French skills are a plus
• Remote work capability; hybrid model in Montreal; travel to North America may be required
