Job summary

Cyient is seeking an experienced aerospace engineer in Montreal to develop and improve Flight Control Laws and related tools using Matlab and C++. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience and hold a relevant degree, preferably a PhD. Bilingual in French and English is essential.

You will work on integrating CLAWS into various systems and ensure compliance with DO-178B standards. This role requires strong knowledge of aerodynamics and flight dynamics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience in development of Flight Control Laws for FBW aircraft.
• Must understand classical and modern control systems design techniques.
• Good understanding of aircraft stability and handling qualities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve CLaws and respective assessment tools using Matlab and C++.
• Support R&D projects related to autopilot and navigation design.
• Perform requirements validation and verification for CLaws.
