SOGECLAIR is seeking a senior engineer to develop and validate flight control laws (CLaws) for Fly-by-Wire aircraft. You will model, simulate, and verify control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink, and ensure compliance with DO-178B and ARP 4754 standards.

The role requires strong experience in flight dynamics, Kalman filtering, and C++/MATLAB programming, with a collaborative mindset and ability to innovate within multidisciplinary teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering (PhD preferred).
• Minimum 10 years in development of Flight Control Laws for Fly-by-Wire aircraft.
• Strong knowledge of flight dynamics and aerodynamics.
• Expertise in classical and modern control system design (SISO/MIMO).
• Proficiency in MATLAB and C++; DO-178B knowledge; English and French fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and improve CLaws design and assessment tools using MATLAB and C++.
• Support CLaws, autopilot, and navigation design for R&D projects.
• Define, validate and verify CLaws requirements per DO-178B and SAE ARP 4754.
• Design pilot-in-the-loop CLaws based on flight quality and performance needs.
• Evaluate stability, performance, and failures with analyses and simulations.
• Support integration of CLaws into test rigs and supplier hardware.
