Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking an experienced Fleet Technician to provide timely and quality maintenance for the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. This interview-position role requires the ability to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and documentation with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, an automotive/truck technician certification, a valid G license, and at least three years of fleet experience;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Automotive/Truck technician certification/license is required.
• Must possess a valid G license and have a good driving record.
• Minimum three years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Electronic troubleshooting skills and diagnostic equipment knowledge.
• Basic welding knowledge and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and with assistance over 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, quality maintenance for the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation.
