Burgundy Asset Management Ltd is seeking a Fixed Income & Credit Investment Analyst to join the Toronto-based team. The analyst will identify, analyze, and monitor high-quality investment opportunities aligned with the firm’s long-term philosophy, reporting to the Portfolio Manager of Fixed Income & Credit Strategies.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in investment research, deep knowledge of fixed income instruments, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in investment research, preferably fixed income & credit.
• Strong understanding of fixed income instruments and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen.
• Effective written and verbal communication with clear presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on fixed income securities.
• Monitor credit quality, interest rate movements and market trends.
• Develop and maintain financial models and analyze covenants and documentation.
• Prepare investment recommendations and research reports for portfolio managers.
• Support portfolio construction, risk management and performance tracking.
