Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of fire protection consulting/design experience.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian fire protection and building codes and standards.
• Experience with sprinkler, standpipe, fire alarm, life safety systems.
• Proven project leadership and coordination experience.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing technical staff.
• Interest in business development and growing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire protection engineering and design projects from concept through completion.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and designers.
• Develop fire protection strategies for complex commercial, healthcare, institutional, and mixed-use projects.
• Lead and oversee fire protection system design, calculations, reports, specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships and participate in proposals and business development.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop the next generation of fire protection professionals.
• Contribute to technical standards, processes, and best practices.
