Job summary

Business Development Bank of Canada in Sherbrooke is seeking a banking professional to manage an existing client portfolio of entrepreneurs and to build strong relationships through tailored financing solutions and advisory services. You will influence outcomes for clients with revenues between $3M and $50M.

You will deliver strategic plans, analyze financial statements, and collaborate with colleagues to meet centre objectives. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in a similar role are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or an equivalent field is required.
• Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to interpret financial statements.
• Professional accounting designation is a major asset.

Responsibilities

• Meet with entrepreneurs, clients and prospects to identify issues and advise on suitable BDC services.
• Deliver a marketing plan aligned with centre objectives to ensure client retention and development.
• Execute action plans aligned with centre objectives for client portfolio growth and retention.
• Analyze, negotiate and present financing proposals while applying credit judgement.
• Manage a portfolio of corporate borrowers with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ensure value-added, segment-specific and personalized communications with clients.
