Job summary

TC Energy in Canada is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting professional to support preparation of accurate financial information and timely results communication. You will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting with supervision from the Team Lead, MD&A and Compliance.

The role emphasizes analytical problem-solving, collaboration, and ability to manage multiple deadlines while delivering exemplary service to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• CPA designation required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting-related experience.
• Strong financial analysis, reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Quarterly and Annual Consolidated Cash Flows and MD&A sections with analyses and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with business units on cash flow accounting and reporting issues.
• Prepare Subsidiary’s Annual Consolidated Financial Statements and notes.
• Respond to external auditors on accounting and reporting matters.
• Develop and maintain Excel models for accounting, reporting and compliance.
• Assist with Pension Plan financial statements and Statistics Canada reports.
• Handle ad hoc projects and analyses.
