Job summary

EQ Bank is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Reporting team in Toronto. You will maintain financial databases, build models, and deliver reports that inform management decisions. Strong analytical and technical skills with BI tools are essential.

You will develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI, perform regulatory reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting initiatives. Hybrid work model with in-office collaboration in Toronto is available.

Qualifications

• Four year degree; Accounting, Finance, Business or Computer Science preferred.
• At least 4–5 years of progressive and relevant work experience.
• Strong data analysis skills with experience using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Proficient in SQL and knowledge of rational database concepts.
• Previous programming experience such as VBA, Python.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial data & systems, including general ledger and financial tools.
• Develop and maintain financial models distributed monthly and quarterly.
• Create Power BI visuals for internal reporting and regulatory reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborate with teams to improve budgeting, forecasting, and processes.
