Job summary

Goway Travel in Toronto is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance team. This role focuses on consolidating insights, monthly analysis, and treasury forecasting, including cash flow, currency exposure, and hedging strategies.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of financial analysis experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of FX markets. Travel industry experience is a plus, and the company offers a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5–7 years of financial analysis with financial modeling experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, financial instruments, and hedging techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a proactive, hands‑on approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide consolidated insights and monthly analysis of financial results.
• Build and analyze profitability models by line of business and region.
• Prepare monthly ad‑hoc presentations for senior executives.
• Prepare analyses of key cost and revenue components to drive improved financial performance.
• Identify, track, and monitor commercial opportunities for value creation.
• Develop a treasury dashboard to monitor forex exposures, cash requirements, KPIs, and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with CFO and VP Finance on hedging strategies to minimize FX risk.
• Reconcile FX transactions and report on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance.
