Best Buy Canada in Vancouver is seeking a senior financial analyst to provide stakeholders with visibility into performance drivers through accurate reporting, forecasting, and insight-led analysis that support strategic decisions and improve efficiency. Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly internal financial reports comparing actuals, budgets, forecasts and prior year; analyze variances and drivers.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor performance across levels (consolidated, business unit, channel, location).
• Support end-to-end financial planning cycle: long-range plan, quarterly updates, annual budgets, monthly forecasts.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through reviews and scorecards.
• Provide data-driven insights to stakeholders through high-quality financial and operational analyses.

Are you a strategic, critical thinker that strives in a fast-paced environment?

As a senior financial analyst, you will play a key role in providing stakeholders with better visibility into performance drivers through accurate reporting, forecasting, and insight-led analysis - supporting strategic decision-making and process efficiency.

In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare monthly internal financial reports to compare actuals to budget, forecast and prior year, including analysis of key variances and underlying drivers
• Build, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards to monitor business performance at a consolidated, business unit, channel, or location level
• Support the end-to-end financial planning cycle (annual long-range plan with quarterly updates, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts)
• Translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights by identifying variances, trends, risks, and opportunities through monthly and quarterly business reviews, and weekly scorecards
• Provide insights and business intelligence to stakeholders through high quality, fact-based financial and operational analyses

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis, planning, and management reporting
• 2+ years of experience within a large retail or omnichannel organization
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail and clear communication
• Advanced Excel/VBA skills with hands‑on experience using Power BI
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline

Annualized Compensation Range

$95,000.00 - $105,000.00

This role is overtime eligible.
