Overview

Senior Financial Analyst – Permanent Role, fully onsite in Downtown Toronto. Our client, a large publicly traded company, is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their growing and dynamic team on a full-time basis. Base pay range

CA$90,000.00 / yr - CA$115,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities
  • Lending Reporting
    • Prepare and validate high-volume financial data related to lending activity
    • Build and maintain balance sheets, income statements, debt yield calculations, and interest payment schedules
    • Review financial documents to ensure accuracy prior to technical review
    • Liaise with internal accounting teams and external stakeholders for data collation and clarification
    • Manage competing priorities with strong organization and attention to detail
  • Management Reporting
    • Support debt covenant monitoring and compliance reporting
    • Present and analyze financial statements (B/S and P&L) in the context of lending requirements
    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports for internal and external use
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting
  • Proven ability to manage large volumes of financial data under tight timelines
  • Strong knowledge of debt instruments, yield calculations, interest accruals, and derivatives
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a track record of working independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems
  • Work in the heart of Downtown Toronto
  • Be part of a collaborative, dynamic finance team
