Your mission

With extensive experience in finance and accounting, you will be responsible for developing and conducting relevant financial analyses for our construction and manufacturing sectors in order to quickly identify areas of loss and initiate proactive discussions with management. The ideal candidate will also need to have a thorough understanding of new information technologies in order to optimize the processes surrounding the review of the organization's financial performance, which is increasingly being carried out with tight deadlines.

Main responsibilities

  • Review and analyze the financial statements of our subsidiaries, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with accounting standards as well as our internal policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor key financial indicators (KPIs) to identify performance issues requiring attention from our management.
  • Analyze the results of our various business units and activities, identify and explain trends as well as major budget variances.
  • Develop relationships with functional teams and senior financial representatives in our business units by structuring financial reviews by activity to quickly identify issues and provide explanations for variances.
  • Identify and seize opportunities to improve the various financial consolidation and reporting processes to facilitate review and synthesis.
  • Develop and maintain explanations for major performance variances and budget deviations. Use new information technologies to streamline financial reporting processes by activity and improve our analytical reporting with tools such as Power BI or other equivalent technologies.
  • Participate in the preparation of management reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Develop new management procedures and policies to ensure standardization of our accounting operations across all our business units.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • CPA or CFA certification preferred
  • 5 to 7years of accounting experience
  • Excellent expertise in financial analysis and reporting
  • Solid knowledge of new information technologies
  • Excellent problem-solvingskills
  • Excellent communication skills in French or English Being able to communicate effectively in both languages will be considered a significant asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
