The Montreal, Quebec, Canada location is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Financial Analyst. This is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting pulp and paper mills with systems such as SAP, DR, BI, and CDW, including production reports (statistics, KPIs);
• Ensuring communication between mills and the head office;
• Consolidating monthly financial reports from approximately fifteen tissue, pulp, and paper mills;
• Preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly financial data for the mills;
• Participating in the financial forecasting process for all mills in the business unit;
• Preparing presentations for the executive team;
• Identifying opportunities to improve data and results consolidation processes;
• Understanding cost allocation system processes and cost per grade in SAP;
• Maintaining cost allocation rules and ensuring consistency across mills;
• Participating in the development of cost systems and BI and BW reports;
• Coordinating and approving creation of master financial data in SAP and related parameters;
• Performing multiple ad hoc analyses and reports.

Your team:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Costing and Financial Information.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with a CPA designation obtained or in progress;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• Experience in manufacturing and costing environments;
• Good knowledge of ERP and MRP financial modules (SAP preferred), including master data and production;
• Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables);
• Excellent communication skills in both official languages (oral and written);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Meticulous and detail-oriented;
• Interest in solving internal client problems;
• Knowledge of cost management in manufacturing;
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
• Knowledge of US GAAP is an asset.
