About The Role

We are seeking a CPA or CPA candidate motivated to advance their career in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The role is based in Montreal, with a hybrid work setting combining remote work and in-office presence at our Saint-Laurent location.

Financial Reporting

What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets for each division.
• Ensuring all financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting principles and regulations.
• Participating in audit engagements and compliance activities, including IFRS transition.

Monthly Close

• Managing month-end entries, GL reconciliations, journal entries, and allocations.
• Handling accruals and provisions, including bonuses, commissions, and bad debt provisions.
• Preparing payroll reports and tax/transfer pricing entries.
• Performing financial reconciliations and finalizing monthly entries.
• Analyzing P&L statements and preparing financial statements.
• Reviewing results with controllers, improving processes, and documenting procedures.

Financial Analysis

• Conducting in-depth financial analysis, comparing actuals to budgets, and providing variance analysis.
• Identifying financial trends, opportunities, and risks to support management decisions.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Developing and maintaining annual budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborating with department heads to track KPIs and assumptions.

Additional Tasks

• Cash flow reporting and analysis.
• Preparing MBR decks.
• Churn reporting.
• Overseeing AR/AP processes.
• Financial integration and tax/annual filings.
• Preparing accounting position papers.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in accounting or finance; experience in a Big 4 firm is a plus.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
