Looking to make a significant impact as a senior financial analyst?

Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst in the Nutrition and Pharmaceutical Industry in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. As a senior financial analyst, you will ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data while adhering to corporate policies and GAAP standards. You will be a key liaison between finance and retail teams, managing and providing crucial financial support. Your responsibilities include identifying risks, evaluating assumptions, and proposing solutions to optimize trade spend impact on strategic goals and budgets, ensuring precise accounting and strong internal controls.

A typical day:

1. Execute various tasks for month-end close to ensure accurate and complete accounting records.
2. Post precise and comprehensive journal vouchers within tight deadlines to facilitate management reviews and decision-making.
3. Reconcile Trade Spend accounts and provide backup for accrual purposes.
4. Perform tasks for LBE submissions to ensure accurate and complete expense data.
5. Submit capital plans/LBE and expenditures.
6. Produce and comment on LBE reporting packages as required by local Senior Management.
7. Collaborate with retail teams to prepare, review, and submit account plans and trade promotion spend for budgeting cycles.
8. Work with A/R departments and KAMs to ensure trade settlements are aged and cleared to meet business goals.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of previous experience.
• CPA required due to financial accounting expertise and necessity to support decisions.
• Knowledge of various ERP systems, e.g., Spot or Spotlight.
• Bilingual in French and English (50% of the time).
