Job description

Are you a CPA (or working on it) and looking for a leap into industry with a fast growing global manufacturing organization in Markham? Our manufacturing client is a world leader with extensive Global Operations.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst is as follows :

• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of divisional accounting and completion of the month-end process in adherence with Group and Corporate reporting timelines
• Responsible for the accurate, timely and well-documented monthly preparation of divisional month-end balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis
• Prepare various monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages with variance analysis, including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows
• Responsible for coordination of other divisional operating systems, including reconciling and closing off all intercompany activities
• Review and present divisional financial results to the management team on a monthly basis
• Prepare accurate annual budget files by departments in line with Group and Corporate deadlines
• Responsible for coordination of year-end financial activities and completeness of year-end accounting
• Prepare accurate year-end audit packs and assist with audit queries as required
