Job description

Are you a CPA (or working on it) and looking for a leap into industry with a fast-growing global manufacturing organization in Markham? Our manufacturing client is a world leader with extensive global operations.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include:

1. Ensuring the accuracy of divisional accounting and completing the month-end process in adherence with group and corporate reporting timelines.
2. Preparing accurate, timely, and well-documented monthly divisional balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analyses.
3. Preparing various monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages with variance analysis, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
4. Coordinating other divisional operating systems, including reconciling and closing all intercompany activities.
5. Reviewing and presenting divisional financial results to management monthly.
6. Preparing accurate annual budget files by departments aligned with group and corporate deadlines.
7. Coordinating year-end financial activities and ensuring the completeness of year-end accounting.
8. Preparing accurate year-end audit packs and assisting with audit queries as needed.

Qualifications:

• CA / CPA designation or in process.
• Experience with manufacturing clients is a strong asset.
