We have an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Global manufacturing Finance team. With full responsibility for leading and supporting budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and internal reporting you will provide financial insights into key business cases that support organizational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advise stakeholders with data-driven recommendations that support profitability goals
- Conduct profitability and cost allocation analyses across customer segments, channels, brands, and categories
- Ensure forecasts reflect business trends and evolving market conditions
- Provide financial insights for key business cases including incentive pricing and vendor negotiations
- As a reliable partner to business leaders, provide objective, well informed guidance that influences key decisions, manage and refine variable spend forecasts
- Support the development of the annual operating plan and long-range forecast
- Enhance budget processes and tools to improve efficiency and transparency
- Deliver transfer pricing and margin analysis to support cross-border activities
- Through the use of data strategically to solve problems, identify trends, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Work seamlessly across functions, building productive relationships with divisional managers that support organizational goals
- Prepare monthly reporting, including sales/operating profit bridges and Business Review Letters
- Support ad hoc reporting and analytics requests with actionable insights
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years' of progressive Senior Financial Analyst experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Canadian and U.S. GAAP
- Advanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling principles
- Proven ability to deliver insights that drive business results
- Experience with BI tools such as Cognos Analytics or similar platforms (an asset)
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
