Job summary

Concord Pacific Developments Corp. is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Green Energy team on-site at our Vancouver head office.

You will prepare financial statements, journal entries, intercompany accounting, and year-end workpapers for a portfolio of companies and projects. The role requires CPA designation and 4+ years of accounting experience, with strong detail, and proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in a professional setting.
• CPA designation is required or in progress.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares financial statements and internal management reports for a portfolio of companies/projects.
• Prepare and review journal entries and accounts payable.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting transactions and manage reconciliations.
• Prepare intercompany and related party transactions at entity/consolidation level.
• Compile year-end audit working papers and liaise with auditors.
• Prepare partnership and corporate tax returns.
• Compile annual operating budgets and conduct variance analysis.
• Provide administrative support to management.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

We are actively growing our Accounting Team and hiring for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Green Energy team on-site in our Vancouver head office.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares financial statements and internal management reports and assists with day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of companies and projects
• Prepare and review journal entries and accounts payable
• Ensures accuracy of accounting transactions and manages accounts and bank reconciliation processes
• Prepares and reviews intercompany and related party transactions, at entity and consolidation level
• Compiles year-end audit working papers and liaises with auditors
• Prepares partnership and corporate tax returns
• Compiles annual operating budgets
• Conducts variance analysis
• Provides administrative support to the management as required.
• Other duties may be required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting related position
• CPA Designation
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work
• Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Competent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook
• Good team player, self-motivated and willing to learn
