Job summary

Brookfield Properties in Calgary, AB, is seeking a Manager, Finance to join the Regional FP&A team for the North America Office portfolio, reporting to the VP of Finance. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and investment performance, coordinating with cross-functional partners and presenting insights to senior leadership and investors.

The role requires strong analytical skills, a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting (MBA or CPA preferred), 5–7 years of FP&A experience with 1–2 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 1-2 years managing a team.
• Experience working in commercial office real estate preferred.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and strategic planning.
• Proven ability to present complex financial information to senior executives and non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience with financial systems such as Yardi Voyage.
• Experience applying AI tools to improve team productivity, streamline financial processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large components of the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive dynamic financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
• Review monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statement forecasting.
• Support quarterly leasing forecast updates and tenant expirations.
• Coordinate with department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives.
