Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Red Lake team in Ontario. The role supports the Site Leadership Team in implementing and monitoring business strategy, leveraging analytics to drive performance and efficiency.

This residential position may be hybrid for the right candidate, with a salary range of CAD 130,000 to CAD 155,000 plus bonus and benefits. The successful candidate will analyze data, develop dashboards, and collaborate across functions to inform planning

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or related discipline.
• Significant experience in business analysis or strategic planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Mining/industrial sector experience is an asset.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our team in Red Lake. This is a replacement role supporting the Site Leadership Team (SLT) in the implementation, execution, and monitoring of business strategy and organizational objectives.

The Senior Finance Analyst will leverage strong analytical and business acumen to identify opportunities for improvement, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making across the operation. Working closely with key stakeholders, this role plays an important part in driving operational effectiveness and business performance.

This position is based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario. Hybrid may be considered for the right candidate.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000 CAD plus bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline
• Significant experience in business analysis, operational improvement, or strategic planning
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Experience working with senior leaders and stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment
• Experience within the mining, industrial, or resource sector is considered an asset
