Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting for a Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst / Junior Accounting Manager to support Canadian entities in a lean finance team. The role focuses on day-to-day accounting, GL, and intercompany reconciliations.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA designation (or is pursuing it), is bilingual in English and French, and has 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience with ASPE/IFRS knowledge. On-site in Concord, ON.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong background in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting and cost accounting.
• Familiarity with ASPE and IFRS (IFRS 15/16).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for Canadian entities in a lean finance team.
• Prepare GL entries, reconciliations, and financial statements under ASPE and IFRS.
• Oversee manufacturing and cost accounting: standard costing, inventory, WIP, margins, variances.
• Handle AP, AR, payroll accounting, and intercompany reconciliations across sites.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow with the CFO.

Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst / Junior Accounting Manager to join their team. As a Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst / Junior Accounting Manager, you will be part of the finance department supporting the Canadian entities. What's the Job?

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for both Canadian entities within a lean, hands-on finance team.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements under ASPE and IFRS standards.
• Oversee manufacturing and cost accounting processes, including standard costing, inventory valuation, WIP, margin, and variance analysis.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and intercompany reconciliations across sites.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in collaboration with the CFO.

What's Needed?

• CPA designation (CPA Ontario or CPA Québec), or actively pursuing certification.
• Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong background in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and cost accounting.
• Working knowledge of ASPE and IFRS, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 standards.
