Job summary

Stantec is hiring a Senior Site Inspector for our Field Services Team in the Niagara Falls area. You will monitor construction activities, inspect work for compliance with drawings and specifications, and coordinate with contractors to maintain quality and safety records on site.

The role requires a post-secondary diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related technology, a minimum of four years’ experience on MTO or municipal projects, and registration with OACETT or PEO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in engineering/construction on MTO or municipal projects.
• Registration as a Technician/Technologist with OACETT or PEO required.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology / Technician or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities and inspect work for compliance with contract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain quality control records on site.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers; obtain and review field data and test records.
• Attend site meetings and communicate effectively with the Contract Administrator and project team.
• Liaise on site safety, scheduling, and daily diary maintenance.
• Able to work weekends/nights and travel as required.
