Maarut is seeking a Senior Software Developer - Full Stack to design and implement advanced FHIR subscription workflows, REST services, and streaming integrations in Java and Node.js. You will build React front-ends using SMART on FHIR, and connect HL7 v2 and Mirth-based channels with AWS Lambda and Enterprise Pub/Sub patterns in a Toronto-area environment.

You will own end-to-end delivery of production-grade solutions, ensure conformance with Ontario digital health standards, and collaborate

Formación

• Strong experience implementing FHIR Subscription and SubscriptionTopic workflows.
• Experience with React and SMART on FHIR launch/authorization.
• Proficiency in Java and Node.js services that publish events and call FHIR APIs.
• Hands-on with HL7 v2 integration and Mirth channels.

Responsabilidades

• Assess polling-based integrations and map events to FHIR SubscriptionTopic behavior.
• Define, implement, and maintain SubscriptionTopic resources with triggers and filters.
• Implement Subscription creation, validation, activation, and delivery configuration.
• Develop Java/Node.js services to publish events and route actions to workflows.
• Develop AWS Lambda functions and queue-based integrations for asynchronous processing.
• Implement idempotency, retries, dead-letter handling, and replay mechanics.
• Develop React applications that use SMART on FHIR for subscription workflows.
• Validate Subscription/SubscriptionTopic against FHIR definitions and conformance tests.
• Create and maintain tests covering FHIR subscription workflows and HL7 v2 components.
