Job summary

Freudenberg Flow Technologies, located at the Stoney Creek site, seeks a skilled Finite Element Analysis Engineer to assess structural integrity and seal performance of pressure vessel components. This non-supervisory role requires strong analytical skills and data-driven simulation reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in mechanical/structural engineering, proficiency in ANSYS and SolidWorks, and a Canadian-registered P.Eng. Nuclear equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BEng or BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Must hold a valid P.Eng designation (Professional Engineer) in a Canadian province.
• Strong working knowledge of industry standards including ASME Section VIII, API, NORSOK, and DNV.
• Proven experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for product development.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in relevant industries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced finite element analyses to evaluate structural integrity of pressure vessel components.
• Evaluate seal performance and cradle-to-grave product development from concept to final release.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings with data-driven insight.
• Collaborate with site engineering team and manager to drive tasks to completion.
