Job summary

AWC Water Solutions Ltd. in Langley, BC is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. You will read engineering drawings and weld aluminum and stainless steel components to tight specifications.

You’ll work with a range of shop equipment, maintain a safe environment, mentor teammates, and participate in occasional field site work to support turn‑key water solutions. Experience with CWB/ASME is valued; ability to read weld symbols and manage quality control is important.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Accredited Trade school or equivalent experience
• Experience: 3+ years relevant fabrication and welding or equivalent
• Certifications: CWB & ASME (as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Read/fabricate/weld aluminum components using various shop equipment/tools following layouts, drawings, work orders or verbal instructions
• Read weld symbols and ensure weld quality to meet specifications
• Maintain daily records and assist in fabrication, welding and assembly of multi-component parts
• Ensure safety and maintain a clean, organized workspace; operate forklifts and power tools safely
• Occasionally perform field site work and travel as required; mentor and coach team members
