Job summary

Kwikwetlem First Nation is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and coordination support to the Lands and Resources Director. The role includes calendar management, governance documentation, and intergovernmental coordination related to lands.

The position requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment involving Lands and Resources, policy, and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years experience in executive or senior administrative roles.
  • Experience supporting governance, land administration, Indigenous organizations, or public sector environments is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Lands and Resources processes and consultation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate calendar, meetings, and scheduling for Lands and Resources Director.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing notes, and meeting packages.
  • Attend meetings and record minutes, decisions, and action items.
  • Support preparation of reports, policies, and regulatory documents.
  • Maintain confidential records and document control systems.
