The Executive Assistant to Chief and Council provides confidential, high-level administrative and governance support to Chief and Council of The Key First Nation. This position serves as a key liaison between leadership, community members, government agencies, funding organizations, and external partners while ensuring the efficient coordination of governance activities and administrative operations.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing governance documents, facilitating communications, maintaining records, and supporting strategic initiatives. This position requires exceptional professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and a strong understanding of First Nation governance, community priorities, and cultural values.

The Executive Assistant plays a critical role in supporting effective leadership, transparent governance, and positive relationships that contribute to the Nations long‑term success and self‑determination.
