Job summary

Enbridge Inc. seeks a Senior Execution Engineer to lead capital maintenance and operational projects across the Prairie Region. You will provide technical leadership for multi-discipline efforts, coordinate resources, and ensure safe, on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining compliance with standards and regulations.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with operations and contractors, and support emergency response as part of the Incident Command System. A P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta or Saskatchewan with 6+ years of related industry experience.
• Analytical with strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Collaborative with a team-oriented and customer-focused approach to working with operations, contractors, and business partners.
• Influential communicator with the ability to clearly convey technical and non-technical information to diverse audiences.
• Knowledgeable in engineering project execution, construction standards, operations and maintenance practices, with pipeline operations, maintenance, or integrity experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of capital maintenance and operational projects, including resource selection, procurement activities, and contractor coordination.
• Provide engineering expertise and technical leadership for electrical, mechanical, civil, and equipment repair or replacement projects throughout the Prairie Region.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance teams, project sponsors, and contractors to ensure projects are design effectively, delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Develop technical solutions to complex operational and maintenance challenges while ensuring compliance with Enbridge standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure project documentation, technical records, drawings, and asset information are accurately maintained throughout the project lifecycle and transitioned to asset management systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and regional personnel while supporting emergency response activities as a key Incident Command System resource.

Working Conditions

• Office environment.
• Moderate travel (up to 25%) within the Region.
• Ability to travel and work throughout Canada.
• A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.

Salary

Ranges from $105,000 – $130,000 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
