Job summary

Sailun Tire Americas is seeking a Senior Events Specialist to lead North American experiential activations across B2B and B2C audiences, including large scale events and national trade shows. This role owns the strategy, planning, execution, and performance evaluation of all trade shows, events, and experiential programs across North America.

Position Reporting To – Senior Marketing Manager

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Senior Events Specialist is responsible for leading North American experiential activations across B2B and B2C audiences, including large scale events and national trade shows. This role owns the strategy, planning, execution, and performance evaluation of all trade shows, events, and experiential programs across North America.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end to end strategy and execution across Sailun North America’s national event, conferences and tradeshow portfolio, including concept development, planning, delivery, and performance measurement
  • Manages all other Company related events i.e. townhall, and other internal related events
  • Manage vendor and agency partnerships, including selection, negotiation, performance management, and cost control
  • Manage vendor and agency partnerships, including selection, negotiation, performance management, and cost control
  • Own event and tradeshow budgets, including financial planning, cost forecasts, and recommendations to optimize spend and ROI
  • Acts as the primary experiential partner to Sales Leadership, aligning event objectives with commercial priorities and customer engagement goals
  • Establish and maintain standardized playbooks for event planning, execution, logistics, and post event evaluation to enable consistency and scalability
  • Oversee the online merchandise and POS store portal support Sales with tradeshows and customer engagement activities
  • Provide on site leadership and decision making authority at all major events, trouble shooting issues and ensuring seamless activation
  • Define and measure key event performance and present insights post events to inform future experiential decisions
  • Monitor industry trends and activations to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our event programs
  • Prioritize and manage ad-hoc requests and special projects in the events and tradeshow space as needed

  • Budget & ROI Accountability – You are comfortable owning event budgets and evaluating effectiveness to inform future investment decisions

Your Background

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 6-8+ years of progressive experience in events, tradeshows, and experiential marketing
  • Demonstrated experience leading large scale events or national tradeshows
  • Strong experience managing vendors, budgets, logistics, and onsite execution
  • Tire or automotive experience is an asset

Travel

  • Up to 30% of travel – Majority in USA and Canada
