Job summary

Reliance Impact is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead pricing on complex ICI projects in Toronto. You will develop full-scope estimates from conceptual to tender, articulate pricing narratives, and ensure what we sell aligns with execution capabilities.

You’ll collaborate with Precon/PMs/Supers to create realistic schedules and logistics plans, identify risk and value-engineering options, and continuously improve estimating templates and data.

Qualifications

• 7+ years estimating experience in an ICI General Contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of scopes: civil/structural, architectural, mechanical/electrical coordination, finishes, and site logistics.
• Confident communicator who can negotiate, ask the hard questions, and present pricing logically.
• Detail-driven with strong judgement—accurate, fast, and calm under deadlines.
• Proficiency with common estimating tools (e.g., Bluebeam, OST, Excel, estimating software).

Responsibilities

• Produce full-scope estimates (conceptual through tender) across ICI projects.
• Lead take-offs, subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, and scope reconciliation.
• Identify risk, opportunities, and value-engineering options that protect margin and schedule.
• Build clear pricing narratives and proposal packages that clients can trust.
• Collaborate with Precon/PMs/Supers to create realistic schedules, logistics plans, and execution strategies.
• Improve estimating systems: templates, historical cost data, lessons learned, and supplier relationships.
