Job summary

Reliance Impact is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead detailed estimates for high-end interior and fit-out projects in Toronto. This role requires a sharp eye for finishes, millwork, and complex scopes, with diligent review of drawings, specs, and tender documents.

You will collaborate with subs, suppliers, designers, project managers, and leadership to build accurate budgets, identify risks and value-engineering opportunities, and support tender submissions through preconstruction

Qualifications

• Experience estimating interiors, fit-out, or commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of finishes, millwork, flooring, partitions, ceilings, and specialty scopes.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret design intent with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of subcontractor pricing, tendering, and scope coordination.
• Excellent organization, communication, and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for high-end interior and fit-out projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and tender documents.
• Complete quantity takeoffs, pricing, trade coverage, and bid analysis.
• Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, designers, project managers, and leadership.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, value-engineering options, and pricing opportunities.
• Support tender submissions, budgets, and preconstruction planning.

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimates for high-end interior construction projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented estimating professional who understands premium finishes, complex scopes, tight timelines, and the level of accuracy required to deliver polished interior spaces.

The ideal candidate has strong experience estimating commercial interiors, luxury office spaces, hospitality, retail, or other high-end fit-out projects and can confidently manage drawings, specifications, trade pricing, and tender submissions.
