Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of estimating principles, systems, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Understanding of procurement strategies and contracting alternatives.
  • Review, challenge, and validate estimates for accuracy and fitness.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in cost estimating tools.

Responsibilities

  • Work with limited supervision within a team while following estimating procedures.
  • Collaborates with team members to ensure all aspects of the tender are considered.
  • Manages benchmarking exercises to test the estimate.
  • Oversees QA of estimates within the project to ensure fit for purpose.
  • Communicates complex estimating and risk modelling data to leadership with recommendations.
  • Coordinates with SLT and mentors team members when required.
  • Adheres to compliance standards and supports net zero carbon transition during delivery.
