Job summary

Nasdaq is seeking a Senior Specialist in Equities Product Management, reporting to the Sr. Director, to shape next-generation investment intelligence products and analytics that power global markets and client workflows.

The role is based in Toronto with a hybrid work arrangement (in-office at least 3 days a week). You will own the full lifecycle from ideation to launch, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Legal and Engineering, and leverage Databricks, SQL, Python and APIs to build prototypes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years in financial services, market data, product management, or related field.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across global, matrixed organizations.
• Hands-on experience with data and analytics platforms such as Databricks, SQL, Python, or APIs, with the ability to build prototypes and support solution development.

Responsibilities

• Engage with diverse customer personas to understand evolving business needs and drive the development of impactful solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams - including Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Engineering - to ensure product value propositions are clearly defined and resonate with target audiences.
• Own the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch, leveraging Agile methodologies and tools to manage delivery with rigor and clarity.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead the development of products, services, and market plans to capitalize on them.
• Leverage data and analytics platforms to independently analyze datasets, build proof-of-concepts, and validate product opportunities.
