Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation

The Senior Project Technologist position is ideal for those seeking career growth, including development into a Project Manager role. Candidates should have familiarity with Ontario regulations and 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Project Technologist
  • Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including sampling support for municipal redevelopment and Record of Site Condition filings.
  • Monitor underground storage tank removals and remediation activities.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior/intermediate technologists.
  • Prepare and edit technical reports, develop conceptual site models.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, or Diploma in Environmental Science.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Ontario.
  • Professional designation (e.g., P. Eng., P. Geo., C.E.T.) or working towards it.
  • Strong writing, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04 and experience with Ontario Regulation 406/19.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside core hours; valid driver’s license required.
