Job summary
H3M Environmental in Calgary is seeking a Senior Environmental Technical Advisor to provide advanced technical leadership on complex assessment and remediation projects across Western Canada. You will guide projects to regulatory closure and serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal teams.
The role emphasizes strong regulatory judgement, hands-on consulting experience, and mentorship of junior staff while collaborating with Project Managers, regulators, and clients to deliver
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Agrology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or industry, preferably within upstream, midstream and/or downstream oil and gas, municipal, or industrial sectors.
- Eligible for or currently holding a professional designation with a recognized regulatory body (e.g., P.Ag., P.Geo., P.Eng.).
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level technical oversight for environmental assessments, remediation, and reclamation programs.
- Lead regulator-ready submissions and interface with regulators to clarify requirements and support approvals.
- Act as a technical point of contact for key clients and support delivery teams with strategic guidance.
