Job summary

Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd. is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer for our Prince George, BC operations. The role focuses on regulatory compliance across refinery and HDRD facilities, guiding environmental programs and coordinating reporting with regulators and internal teams.

The incumbent leads emissions reporting, VOC reduction initiatives, and EMS development, while managing budgets and external contractor relationships to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years environmental experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with emissions reporting and environmental compliance programs (GHG, NPRI, BC-OBPS).
• Experience developing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety management systems.
• Ability to interact with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and standards for refinery facilities.
• Serve as subject matter expert on regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Coordinate and submit environmental reporting (GHG, NPRI, BC-OBPS).
• Lead VOC reduction initiatives and LDAR programs.
• Develop and maintain environmental procedures and EMS.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure site compliance.
• Support audits, permit applications, and regulator relations.
• Manage annual environmental budget and oversee contractors.
