Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Environmental Assessment Coordinator and Provincial Permitting Specialist to lead regulatory strategy for major infrastructure and resource projects across Canada. Based in one of ERM's Canadian offices, you will guide environmental assessment and permitting work, engage Indigenous communities, regulators, and clients, and mentor teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental sciences, biology, or environmental engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in resource development or consulting.
  • Experience with Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial environmental assessment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic input and advice on regulatory requirements and approval pathways for client projects.
  • Consult with regulators and clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Support engagement programs with Indigenous communities, the public, and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal teams including engineering and other consulting firms.
  • Coordinate and contribute to client deliverables such as due diligence studies and regulatory reports.
