Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Managing Consultant, Environmental Assessment Coordinator and Provincial Permitting Specialist to lead regulatory strategies across Canada for infrastructure and natural resource projects.

Based in one of our Canadian offices, you’ll mentor teams, engage Indigenous communities and regulators, and drive high-impact deliverables while balancing development with environmental and social responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or related field.
• Experience advising on regulatory and permitting processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic input on regulatory requirements and approval pathways.
• Consult with regulators and clients, building strong relationships.
• Support engagement programs with Indigenous communities, public, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external SME groups.
• Assist with scope, budget, schedule, and quality control for regulatory deliverables.
• Prepare technical and plain-language deliverables and client communications.
