Job summary

Jobtailor in Canada seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the digital strategy and target technology state. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to shape the roadmap, analyze tech landscapes, and balance debt reduction with new capabilities.

Qualifications

• University degree in a field related to enterprise architecture and its practice
• At least 7 years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience developing feasible architecture designs
• Ability to influence and deliver results across cross-functional areas and with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to think strategically, act tactically, and execute
• Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics
• Knowledge of information management practices, systems development lifecycle, IT service management, agile/lean methodologies, ITIL practices
• Understanding of agile management principles/frameworks, including scale
• Knowledge of EA components, operations, and IT principles
• Familiarity with EA tools, graphical modeling approaches, repository management
• Legally entitled to work in Canada; preference for citizens or PR
• Security requirements
• Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, and modern SaaS ERP platforms
• Knowledge of Generative AI and AI solutions (asset)
• Proficiency in English and French (asset)

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to develop the digital strategy, roadmap, and target technology state
• Incorporate stakeholder needs into the digital roadmap
• Analyze technology landscape and provide actionable insights to guide decisions
• Balance reducing technical debt with new technology capabilities
• Apply enterprise architecture and operational capabilities to designs
• Guide cross-functional execution of the digital roadmap
• Provide a framework to coordinate customer experience, applications, data, integration, and infrastructure teams
• Promote end-to-end architecture governance value chains
• Translate operational needs into cross-domain guidance
• Communicate architectural strategies, roadmaps, and governance across the organization
• Build and maintain influence with stakeholders
• Mentor and coach other architecture practitioners
• Support development of EA principles, standards, and deliverables including operational capabilities
