Job summary

ESI Technologies is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect Advisor to govern the Enterprise Architect repository and guide its use across a major Quebec government ministry. You will lead governance strategies, support teams, and advance integration of architecture practices in a complex environment.

The role requires deep ArchiMate modeling expertise, Sparx Systems EA proficiency, and a track record of large-scale government or public-sector projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Information Technology.
• 8+ years in enterprise or IT solution architecture.
• Proven experience on two Enterprise Architect projects in last 10 years.
• Experience with ArchiMate on at least one project.
• Experience in government ministry or large public-sector projects.
• Minimum 240 person-days contributed per project.
• Strong expertise with Enterprise Architect (Sparx Systems).
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture practices and governance.

Responsibilities

Permanent Senior Enterprise Architect Advisor

Work Mode: Remote Anywhere in Canada Contract Duration: 3 years Language Requirement: Excellent proficiency in French, both written and spoken

ESI Technologies is a Quebec-based IT consulting firm with over 32 years of experience.

We support organizations in their digital transformation initiatives, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data management, and IT service management projects.

We are currently seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect Advisor to contribute to governance, integration, and evolution initiatives related to the Enterprise Architect repository within a major Quebec government ministry.

This is a strategic opportunity to help define and enhance enterprise architecture practices in a large-scale and complex environment.

• Participate in the governance of the Enterprise Architect repository.
• Support teams in the use and evolution of the platform.
• Contribute to the integration of enterprise architecture practices.

Required Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Proven experience in two Enterprise Architect implementation or support projects completed within the last 10 years.
• Experience with at least one project using the ArchiMate modeling language.
• Experience with at least one project carried out within a government ministry or a comparable large public-sector organization.
• Minimum contribution of 240 person-days per project.
• Strong expertise with Enterprise Architect (Sparx Systems).
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture practices.
• Proficiency in ArchiMate modeling.
• Experience in architecture governance and enterprise repository management.
• Strong communication, knowledge transfer, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work effectively in complex environments involving multiple stakeholders.
