Job summary

Husky Technologies TM is seeking a design team leader to plan, organize and lead a team for new product development in Bolton, Ontario. You will ensure adherence to the Product Development Process, Husky Standards and Stage Gate, while estimating effort, cost and managing time, cost and quality targets.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering, strong leadership and project management experience, and the ability to mentor and develop staff. Join a growth-oriented team with a strong culture.

Qualifications

• Post secondary engineering degree or 5–10 years of equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Previous project management experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead design team for new product development per processes.
• Estimate effort and cost; ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Improve processes through metrics and root cause analysis.
• Support Sales and Service with technical guidance.
