Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Technical Expert Senior in Engineering Strategic Initiatives to join the Strategy, Governance, Engineering Skills Management team within Engineering, Product Development and Bombardier Defense. Qualifications

• Twenty years of aerospace/engineering experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of engineering strategies across Bombardier sites.
• Plan and manage strategic engineering initiatives that improve effectiveness and capacity to meet current and future business needs.
• Lead the deployment of cross-functional budget management processes and tools to improve consistency and efficiency across Engineering.
• Communicate priorities, influence stakeholders, promote collaboration, and support decision‑making with Engineering Community leaders, Defense, Finance, HR, and suppliers.
• Benchmark, propose, and implement innovative improvements to organizational effectiveness, processes, and tools, including AI‑enabled solutions.
• Coach and mentor Strategy, Governance and Engineering Skills Management team members to support growth and strengthen organizational capability.
• Develop and deliver training and knowledge transfer for engineering teams, including Engineering Essentials and Fundamentals Training.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering professionals and technologists, ensuring quality execution and continuous improvement.
