Job summary

SaskEnergy Incorporated is seeking a Senior Engineer, System Design and Planning to provide engineering services for facility recommendations and seamless integration of new assets to meet current and future demand. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective system operation.

The role requires a degree in engineering, a PE designation, 8 years of pipeline/facilities experience, and strong analytical skills to optimize transmission and storage

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial, or Petroleum preferred).
• Professional Engineer designation registered to practice in Saskatchewan.
• Eight (8) years of engineering experience related to planning, design and construction of pipeline and facilities in oil and gas.
• Experience with hydraulic analysis software and facility design of natural gas pipeline systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement changes to ensure efficient task execution.
• Recommend changes to optimize facilities and services for long-term value.
• Facilitate connection of new TransGas customers to transmission and/or distribution systems.
• Present information to customers and support prudent business decisions with cost, routing and timelines.
