• University Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field; 8+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Offers expert advice, guidance, and subject matter expertise throughout planning, design, and delivery phases for BHS design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensures BHS design and construction meet technical requirements through design reviews, submittal evaluations, and testing oversight.
• Evaluates alternative technical proposals from the contractor and provides feedback on feasibility and alignment with client requirements.
• Manages the technical aspects of the program related to BHS engineering, including setting program targets and goals.
• Establishes governance frameworks and procedures to manage interfaces between client and contractors.
• Collaborates with the program team to schedule and conduct design reviews aligned with program requirements.
• Coordinates with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration across programs, facilities, and assets.
• Reviews contractor and designer deliverables for compliance with codes and standards.
• Oversees designer input during construction including RFIs, shop drawings, material approvals, mock-ups and punch lists.
• Prepares management progress reports and briefings on design progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• Provides coaching, mentoring, and career development support to staff.
