Job summary

Funday, a full-service agency, seeks a Senior Engagement Manager who can bridge accounts and projects. You’ll run your own accounts, collaborate with creatives, strategists and technologists, and work in a hybrid setup from Toronto.

This role centers on strong client relationships, budgeting, and end-to-end delivery across global clients, with emphasis on clear communication, problem solving, and guiding teams to great work. You’ll influence project direction and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years recent experience in a marketing/advertising agency.
• 5–7 years in an account management or project management role.
• Hybrid accounts and project management experience.
• Ability to grow client accounts.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Mentoring or managing junior team members.
• Budgeting and resource management experience.
• Experience managing projects through lifecycle from planning to execution.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for projects between the client, team, and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to deliver on client needs or solve problems.
• Build positive working relationships with key client teams.
• Understand and anticipate clients’ goals and competition.
• Manage issues professionally, finding solutions and consensus.
• Translate client needs to the team to execute.
• Oversee the delivery and execution process for on-time, on-budget results.
• Own, facilitate, document, and disseminate outcomes for meetings.
• Manage development priorities and timelines.
• Manage creative activities and client reviews.
• Communicate project status/risks to stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and communicate issues and changes.
