Job summary

The National Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Employee Data and AI Automation Analyst to join the Employee Experience and Performance team. You will help make HR data accessible, build secure automation, and deliver analytics that empower partners across HR.

This role blends development, governance and insights to drive value through data-driven decisions. You’ll collaborate with a team of data engineers, scientists and analytics partners, with a hybrid work model and flexible scheduling to

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, BI and reporting.
• HR analytics experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Reporting Center or a comparable tool preferred.
• Experience in application development, process transformation and automated solutions.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and Power Platform; familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, GitHub).
• Ability to manage multiple transformation initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Act as a citizen developer and advance data-sharing and self-service within the team.
• Create, test and deploy automated solutions to simplify employees’ work and analytics processes.
• Generate business value through responsible use of technology and AI.
• Design, develop and enhance reports, dashboards and analytical solutions for partners.
• Support stakeholders in defining needs, interpreting data and choosing the best solutions.
